You deserve it Nordio
The day before yesterday Virginia Sanjust, a former Rai announcer who fell into the abyss of psychiatry and poverty, was sentenced to 14 months in prison for extorting 15 euros (you read correctly: 15) from her sister from whom she had stolen the keys to the car (and with the shortened procedure, otherwise it was 21 months). Six months ago the former PD mayor of Lodi Simone Uggetti was acquitted in the second appeal because, yes, he had rigged a tender with a tailor-made tender to entrust the management of two municipal swimming pools (which gross 300 -400 thousand euros per year); yes, he had tried to erase the computer traces of the crime; yes, the Court recognized “the existence of the fact, its criminal illegality, its correct legal qualification, as well as the finding that the defendants committed it”; but he is not punishable “due to the particular tenuousness of the fact”. In these two sentences there is all the filthy class justice, strong with the weak and weak with the strong, which the right, the left and the following media have restored after the magical two-year period of Mani Pulite with the climate and the disgust they have created in these 30 years. And with those that Nordio&C. they will launch closing the circle.
The other evening, after a day of delirium from the Keeper in Parliament, they were talking about it Half past eight the former PD minister Andrea Orlando and the president of the democratic judiciary, Silvia Albano. But don’t worry: now, with the fifth reform of the statute of limitations in twenty years, the right cancels the Bonafede law which blocked it after the first instance and resurrects the previous regimes. So the judges will have to break their heads to apply four types of prescription, one worse than the other: the former Cirielli, the Orlando, the Cartabia and the Nordio, depending on which is the most favorable to the accused. Obviously to the guilty one: the innocent are acquitted, not prescribed. Dear Orlando and Albano, you deserve it, Nordio. It’s the victims who don’t deserve it.
