Dancers from Borna and makers also made it onto the podium

Of the ten Saxon participants, the piece “Tarantella” by the Borna quer dancers also made it to second place in the “Folk Dance 7 – 11 Years” category. In the category “Folk Dance 15 – 26 Years” the dancers from Attitude Machern took third place with “En Este instante”.

The national competition celebrates its tenth anniversary

A total of 66 dance groups from all over Germany took part in the national “Youth Dances” competition. It took place for the tenth time this year. All participants had previously qualified for the competition as first place in the state competitions in their state.

Competition, flash mob and open-air square dance

In addition to the competition dances, which were shown over two days in the Paderhalle, there was a dance supporting program for all dance groups.
