How to ensure the smooth communication of Shenzhou 13? …Guangdong Qiong Aerospace Science Exchange Activity and the 4th Guangdong Youth Aerospace Science Popularization Carnival (China Space Day) was held on the 24th. The two provinces and three places (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wenchang) joined hands to bring a three-dimensional experience to the youth Aerospace Science “Feast”.
That day was the seventh China Space Day in my country. The event revolved around the theme of “Space Lighting Dreams”. There were separate venues in several schools in Guangdong and Qiong Province for online interaction. Under the guidance of aerospace experts, students paid attention to aerospace hotspots and learned about aerospace technology, feel the charm of aerospace technology; and live broadcast through the Internet, the cumulative number of viewers has reached 100,000.
“What is the difference between the computer system of Tianwen-1 and ordinary computers?” “Will there be a signal blind spot in the communication with Shenzhou 13?”…In the space science lecture hall, Dr. Wang Ping of Sanya Zhongke Remote Sensing Information Industrial Park brought ” Lecture on the Origin and Application of Remote Sensing”; Zhou Bin, head of the research group of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Research Institute of the Academy of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Chinese Academy of Sciences Communication support expert – Dr. Wei Changning of Asia-Pacific Satellite Broadband Communication (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. shared the story behind the mission to young friends; Bai Fan, deputy director of AVIC International Millimeter Wave Broadband Communication Division, led the students to understand satellite communication related knowledge. After the class, several aerospace experts had a lively exchange with young people from multiple schools in the three places, and gave detailed answers to the questions raised by the students.

In this “cloud” exchange meeting, the aerospace characteristic schools, aerospace science popularization venues, aerospace science and technology enterprises, etc. in Guangdong and Qiong provinces will display their respective aerospace scientific and technological achievements and popular science activities through the connection of the three places. Guangdong Qingyuan Huaqiao Middle School, Hainan Wenchang Middle School and other schools with aerospace characteristics shared that the schools have played a positive role in improving students’ innovative and creative ability and scientific quality in the process of carrying out aerospace education. Excellent aerospace science bases from Shenzhen and Wenchang shared their experience in base construction.
The reporter learned that the event was jointly sponsored by Guangdong Science and Technology Newspaper, Guangdong Aeronautical Society, Hainan Science and Technology Activity Center, Wenchang Education Bureau of Hainan Province and other units.
