[NTDTV, Beijing time, June 15, 2022]A few days ago, Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, posted a picture on Twitter to promote Changsha. This news is on the Weibo hot search list. Some mainland netizens inside the wall asked, “What is Twitter?” Some asked, “Why is he on Twitter?”

At noon on June 15, the entry “#赵立建 tweeted to promote Changsha to the world#” appeared on the mainland’s Weibo hot search list. The entry shows that Zhao Lijian posted a picture on his personal Twitter on June 13 with the text “Food court, Changsha, #China.” to promote Changsha to the world.

A NTD reporter checked Zhao Lijian’s Twitter and found that he posted this tweet at 10:13 p.m. Beijing time on the 13th.

Due to the CCP’s Internet blockade, netizens in mainland China cannot use Twitter and other overseas social media normally. Zhao Lijian’s tweet sparked heated discussions among mainland netizens.

“Excuse me, what is Twitter? Why can I post on it?” “I’m curious! What is Twitter? ” “How do you log in to Twitter?”

On June 13, 2022, Zhao Lijian, spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, tweeted. On the 14th, the news was on the hot search list of Weibo, and mainland netizens asked: “What is Twitter?” (Webpage screenshot/NTDTV synthesis)

Another netizen who suspected to know Twitter asked: “How can he use Twitter? Many people think like this… I don’t know.” “Why can he tweet.” “Why can he be on Twitter? “

Other netizens responded: “Have you never heard of the fact that only state officials are allowed to light the lights, and the people are not allowed to light the lights?”

Some netizens mocked: “Software that doesn’t exist can be trending on Weibo in China.”

Below Zhao Lijian’s tweet, some netizens posted a photo of a man standing in front of a tank during the June 4 incident. Another netizen sent him a message asking him to pay attention to the Tangshan incident.

The Tangshan incident refers to a violent incident in a barbecue restaurant in Tangshan City on June 10 this year. Many men beat women, such as beating with wine bottles, kicking and stepping on them, causing many women to be injured.

The CCP has used the Great Firewall to force mainland netizens from overseas, including Facebook, Google, Twitter, YouTube and many other social media.
