May 11th is not just any date for Varese Basketball fans: in fact today, 25 years ago, Varese became the 1999 Italian Champion at the end of Game 3 in a final dominated from the start against Benetton Treviso. The final was 3-0, but the basketball battle took place, to the detriment of a result that would suggest a “non” series.
