SSV Ulm has consolidated its relegation spot in the 3rd football league, but Unterhaching is not making any progress. In a duel between two former Bundesliga clubs, Ulm won 2-0 at home against the game association. With the win, Ulm consolidated third place in the table, but the direct promotion positions are seven points away.
Hachings Hobsch misses the penalty kick
Felix Higl (19th) and Thomas Kastanaras (87th) scored the Ulm goals for the largely unchallenged victory. Haching’s rebellion came too late, and to make matters worse, Patrick Hobsch also missed a penalty in the final minute.
Ulm efficiency wins
The game was characterized by a lot of midfield action and duels, neither team was able to get into a frenzy. In the end, Ulm was more efficient, although the hosts were by no means better after taking the early lead.
