SCARPERIA (ITALPRESS) – Tragic accident at the Mugello circuit during the Italian Motorcycling Cup. The victim is a fifty-nine year old man, Stelvio Boaretto, engaged in the Italian Amateur Trophy, 1000 Advanced category. The pilot was involved, with other participants, in a race accident in which he sustained the most serious injuries. Rescued and revived on the track by the medical staff of Mugello, the rider was transported to the circuit’s Medical Center where, due to the worsening of his conditions, despite a new intervention by the doctors, he died. The FMI, the promoter of the Trophy, the Mugello circuit have, in concert, decided to interrupt the event, as a sign of respect for what happened. “In this dramatic moment I join the family with condolences and participation.
