Bologna, 17 October 2021 – It was called Andrea Cembali, lived in Imola and had 29 years old: in the morning the boy died in a tragic accident on Corno alle Scale (video). The boy had left for the demanding excursion of the gods Leaps of the Hour together with a friend. The route, made up of a series of large boulders that make up part of the ridge, reaches 1,945 meters. The two had already reached an altitude of 1,850 when Cembali came leaning over to take a picture, according to his friend, and fell many meters.
The desperate phone call from his friend arrives at the mountain rescue at 13.30: the technicians, who were not far away, arrive in a short time but Cembali’s heart no longer beats. While two technicians begin the resuscitation maneuvers, the foreman activates Pavullo’s 118 helicopter equipped with a winch.
The heart massage continues until the arrival of the advanced rescue vehicle that has disembarked the team with the winch, as the area cannot be landed, but unfortunately the doctor could not do anything else but ascertain death.
