“For the second time in a row we stopped at the most beautiful moment”, comments Giuliana with the usual load of enthusiasm not scratched by the triple whistle due to Covid. «A year ago we launched in pursuit of the leaders Schiara and then we got the pass for the higher category thanks to the places left free. Why not try again this time, if it were possible? ».

«Maybe the requirements are not there, but in that case no drama: we will try to win the First again. If instead the Promotion were ready to welcome us, all the better. Places will get rid of them, just look at the possible single team between Cavarzano and Limana, so somehow the gap of less teams will have to be bridged ».
In this regard, the hypothesis of collaboration with Longarone could help. Not quite a neighboring partnership, but the rumor is circulating nonetheless.
«Better explain the situation well», Giuliana explains. «Some of our managers have friendships in the Longarone. There may have been some informal chat, but at the moment it all stops there. There are practical reasons, needless to deny it: I think I can use a great stadium and at the same time enhance their youth sector. However, I repeat that there is nothing concrete, quite the contrary. I myself have never spoken to any Longaronese executive. We will see later if any news should take place, however we are now focused on planning next season. In which, wherever we are in the category, Alpina will aim for first place ».
