Ronald Acuña Jr. Continues to Amaze with Speed on the Bases

It is no secret that Ronald Acuña Jr. looks like a roadrunner due to his impressive speed, however, he never ceases to surprise with his ability to reach the next base so quickly. The “Abuser” started the season well, but has been fading in recent clashes. In fact, he has only one stolen base and this was in the first commitment of the regular calendar.

However, it is not due to any problem with his knee that motivates him not to run with the same speed as usual and that was evident this Monday. The Atlanta Braves team produced a four-run rally in the third chapter, which partially put them ahead against the New York Mets and the Venezuelan scored the second.

The native of the Sabana ran at first and against a Ozzie Albies short hit, he jogged to second waiting to find out if the outfielder could catch the ball, but then the good thing came. Acuña Jr. sprinted when he saw that the ball fell, which he did reach the plate in fractions of seconds and being safe, in a play that could be closed with another player running or even not even risking continuing to the plate.

Furthermore, Ronald’s acceleration speed was so phenomenal that he almost caught up with his teammate who was occupying the middle before the connection, something that the “Beast” has already done repeatedly: score with a single from first.

Without a doubt, the Braves outfielder has some super-high attributes in his legs and he takes advantage of them to help his franchise. Ronald Acuña Jr. continues to amaze with his speed on the bases, proving to be a valuable asset to the team.
