Ostiamare is confirmed as the black beast of Arzachena conquering an important external success. For Arzachena instead comes the second defeat in a row, after the 0-4 remedied in the previous round in Giugliano. The Arzachena coach Marco Nappi yesterday had to do without the suspended Luca Manca replacing him with the young Belotti who entered in the final minutes of the match. First appearance of the season instead for captain Danilo Bonacquisti.
In Ostiamare two former Arzachena players, the defensive center and captain Simone Sbardella (in Gallura for two seasons) and the offensive winger Matteo Bertoldi who wore the green-and-white jersey in the first Serie C championship played by the Gallura team.
In the first half the two teams only thought about studying each other to the point that within 46 ‘of play, there was not even a shot to score in the notes.
In the second half it was Ostiamare who showed up on the pitch determined more than ever to break the deadlock. Lorusso tried in the 6 ‘when he passed Ruzittu with a lob, but the ball hit the crossbar and returned to the field. The guests shouted at the goal convinced that the ball had crossed the goal line, but neither the referee nor his assistants were of the same opinion and allowed the action to continue. Two minutes later, Lorusso always hit the mark this time, beating Ruzittu, on a perfect cross from Bertoldi.
At half an hour the Arzachena coach tried everything by inserting Sartor in place of Mannoni, thus passing to a 4-2-4 with Sartor and Kacorri in the middle and Pallecchi and Pinna on the sides. Arzachena, however, was unbalanced forward and Ostiamare took advantage of it by closing the match in the 37th minute of the second half with the newly entered Mastropietro who scored, on a perfect cross from Vagnoni.
