Thousands of Atletico Madrid fans invaded Piazza del Duomo in Milan, awaiting their team’s match which tonight at 9pm at the San Siro stadium they face Simone Inzaghi’s Inter in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. Between chants and a waving of flags, the Spaniards swarmed through the streets of the center peacefully and without causing any problems. In the evening they headed towards the stadium, escorted by a strong police cordon.
