Like last year, the German-American professional football player Amon-Ra St. Brown from the Detroit Lions is taking part in the NFL’s Pro Bowl.

The wide receiver was initially not nominated for the all-star game, but now replaced the injured AJ Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles. Curious: The 24-year-old had already been nominated in the previous season – also for Brown.

Amon-Ra St.-Brown with career highs

On Sunday, St. Brown and the Lions lost in dramatic fashion to the San Francisco 49ers in the play-off semifinals with 31:34 and lost their first place in the Super Bowl. The pass receiver impressed this season with 119 catches and ten touchdowns in 16 games – both career highs.

The All-Star event takes place on Sunday in Orlando, Florida. In addition to a game of flag football, there are numerous mini-games and challenges.
