In fact, his 2021 ended with a ninth place in the standings and the second among the independent drivers, where the victory really escaped by a whisker.

Above all in terms of results, there was no shortage of satisfactions, such as second place in the wet at the Barcelona – Catalunya circuit, in addition to other near-miss podiums. All this despite it being his debut in Superbike and he was the lowest age among the riders participating in the intercontinental review.

«I am very happy to continue», says Bassani, a Belluno talent from Caupo, a fraction of Seren del Grappa, «with the official agreement, work can begin in view of next season. The bike is competitive and Bassani’s qualities are many, with still great room for growth. «In the last races of the world championship we were always around the top five positions and the intention now is to fight for the top 5 consistently. However, we do not want to put too much pressure on ourselves, especially given the stiff competition. If the results do not arrive immediately we will not have to be disheartened, on the contrary. For sure, I work very well with the team, enthusiasm is always high and we try to solve any problem immediately ». –
