A goal by Manzo at Basso Pavese is enough to sink a never-defying Bressana (1-0) and remain hooked to the play-off zone: fifth place, the last useful for participation in the promotion play-offs, sees Basso Pavese on equal points and Sedriano.

Yesterday afternoon in Villanterio a cross-provincial match took place with only one goal, but many chances. The first blast is from Basso Pavese who at 13 ‘goes very close to scoring when Amaro kicks a free-kick well, but sees the ball chipping only the top of the crossbar and splashing out of the field. Bressana tries to react and at 19 ‘shows up with a nice shot from Mannozzi that ends high. The hosts play better and attack with greater intensity and continuity, but the goal does not come.

At 35 ‘a nice shot by Mella who seems to be able to bag himself, but hits the post in full: once again it is the wood of the goal that stops Basso Pavese. In the final half, however, the Bressana has a flare-up. At 39 ‘Bacaj receives a good ball, Vigoni jumps and finds himself alone in front of Di Chiazza, but kicks incredibly high, throwing an excellent opportunity to the winds.

The Basso Pavese at this point manages the slightest advantage, defending himself with order and trying to sting in attack, while the Bressana of Mr. Pochetti throws himself in a desperate search for an equalizer. The oranges show up several times near Di Chiazza, but they do it in a disorderly way, perhaps with a bit of frenzy that does not allow them to find the equalizer despite the many opportunities created.

The last shot in the 46th minute was from Huelva, but finished high over the crossbar. After three minutes of injury time, the referee blows his whistle to finish.
