Marco Milani is Silver Beach Volleyball Vice National Champion. The athlete (and young doctor) from Belluno took second place in the finals of the Italian championship for clubs 2021 which took place in Bibione over the weekend. Milani competed with the colors of Beach volley Padova paired with Francesco Galtarossa. Ahead of them, in the Silver category, only the Cus Torino tandem formed by Emanuele Bosio and Luca Brunet managed to place.
«After a sleepless night, with the adrenaline still running high», Marco Milani commented yesterday, «I can only thank everyone who made this weekend so special. First of all, the staff of Beach volley Padova, who welcomed me into the team and gave me the opportunity to represent the company in the Italian beach volleyball championship. Then I have to thank the boys and girls of Spazio 21 Padova, a fantastic group of people that I had the pleasure of discovering and rediscovering. Finally, a huge hug goes to my partner and great friend Francesco Galtarossa: he made possible one of the greatest satisfactions of my life at a sporting level ».
The Italian championship for clubs had still started at the end of January. In the final stages, eight hundred matches were played on forty-eight different fields in just two days. These are the Italian champion clubs.
