Binasco trembles, then overturns Assago thanks to goals from Ruggeri and Ciuffini

Assago scares Virtus Binasco, then Mr. Tomanin’s boys overturn the game, win 2-1 and qualify for the next round of the Promotion playoffs. The success won yesterday afternoon at Pazzi di Binasco by the hosts allows them to continue dreaming, while Angelo Gallanti’s Assago ended his season.

Mild rhythms

At the start the rhythms are slow, also thanks to the great heat, on the pitch there are many errors and few opportunities. Binasco tries to do something more and in the 29th minute becomes dangerous with a header from Ruggeri who, however, does not hit the goal. The match lights up at the end of the first part of the game: in the 41st minute Binasco still forward with a percussion on the right wing by Naldi who puts the ball in the middle, but the ball crosses the whole area and no one reaches the winning deviation. The final time, however, is by Assago. At 42 ‘nice ball in depth for Magistrelli who kicks very high from a good position. At 45 ‘Putignano becomes the protagonist of an idea crowned by an inviting assist for Annoni who kicks from the center of the area, but the ball still flies over the crossbar.

In the second half, Virtus got off to a better start and in the 3 ‘a good shot by Mantelli was noted, ending just a little high on the crossbar. The pressure of the hosts increases and their efforts are rewarded in the 31st minute when Ruggeri equalizes the score with a shot from the edge of the area that slips into the net. Assago tries to react in the 34th minute with a shot from Putignano that ends up high, but the ball of the game is now firmly in the hands of Virtus who at 36 ‘also finds the doubling with Ciuffini who throws a powerful conclusion from the center of the area and specifies halfway up that it slips into the net.
