PRATA DI PORDENONE
Nothing to do against the healthiest team in the entire A3 series. It is a defeat that does not hurt too much, the one taken at PalaPrata. “Our opponents have expressed a very robust game”, begins the team manager Alessio Bortoluzzi. «Especially in the first set, but not only that, we did good things. It is a pity ”, the manager continues,“ that they have made better ones. We attacked and counterattacked, but in front of us was a very robust sextet. Based on the feeling I had tonight, Prata seemed to me to be the team that pulls the hardest. Well done to them, so well done ».
What was missing at Belluno? “Maybe we should have been a little more unscrupulous. It was a game where we had nothing to lose. But it’s not easy to play games of this type either. In the first set we were in the game almost until the end, we contained their serve and in the change of the ball we were immediately effective. Then the opponents had a favorable turn to serve and managed to leave. It was a game trend that we expected, that of the first set, and we knew we had to prepare for a game like this, in which to try to take advantage of any opponents’ losses which, unfortunately, were not there. They cornered us, to use the language of boxing, and kept us there until the end ».
On the stands, the Da Rold was followed in Prata di Pordenone by a good number of fans. «We know we can always count on their support even away from home. Having supporters who leave their families on Boxing Sunday to come away to cheer us on is something very nice ». –
