Brava Mortara, beats Ospitaletto and wins the promotion playoffs

Expo Inox crowns a more than positive season. Balanced race, then an inspired Bazani signs the victory

Suffering beyond the lawful and playing subdued for almost 35 ‘, the Expo Inox Mortara manages to get to the head only in the final match of the rough Ospitaletto and celebrates access to the promotion playoffs, the real icing on a season that has sanctioned the net growth of young people in the nursery and the prudent choices on the market of senior players rewarded.

The match

After a decent start to the game, Expo Inox gets stuck in attack not finding the usual offensive fluidity and not even the confidence with heavy shooting. Little is scored, but Mortara is loaded with fouls with a direction of the race that is certainly not home and enters the last 2 ‘of the fraction with the team of coach Zanellati ahead 10-8. Bazani recovers a ball from his own shooting mistake and slips the triple, but then the yellow and blue no longer score and Ospitaletto finds ideas to equalize and overtake (13-14 at the first break). Finally, the approach with which the Expo Inox restarts seems good, reaching -1 (30-31) with possession of the overtaking not transformed, then again confusion and forcing that allow Ospitaletto a new extension (31-38). Both Sacchi and Bazani let themselves be ensnared by the Brescia defense in several circumstances by losing balls or forcing without success, Crescini has warm hands and puts the shots that count for Ospitaletto bringing her to the final break ahead 40-45. Bettanti has an excellent impact and Expo Inox draws immediately (45-45), two triples of a recovered Bazani are worth 53-49 which does not last because Garcia has to leave the field after a hard blow and Mortara has no continuity in attack (53 -53 to 4’25).

With a 4-point game, Bazani pushes Zanellati’s team to 61-56 at 1:04 from the end and slowly begins to see a banner that seemed unreachable. Ospitaletto practically doesn’t score any more, then it’s a yellow and blue party (65-57). –
