Great race for Lorenzo Busin at Marcialonga running, staged yesterday, for the nineteenth time, on the classic route from Moena to Cavalese: 26 easy kilometers in the first part, challenging in the final, with 1300 runners to compete. The Agordino, who is preparing the winter season of the granfondo, completed his effort in 1h30’49 ”, finishing in twelfth place overall, seventh Italian. Applause also for another Agordino, Gabriel Toffoli, 34th. Fiftieth place for Stefano Cason, of Run & Fun Oltre Team. Also of note is the participation of the multipurpose Claudio Fontanive, another agordino, who has completed his 34th Marcialonga between skiing, running and cycling. As for the top positions, it was a race without history, with Kenya leading the way: Mathew Samperu’s success in 1h17’28 “, with Paul Tiongik second at 1’2” and Maritim Philimon Kipkorir completing the podium with a delay of 1’43 “. Kenyan also the fourth, Edwin Kiptoo, while Andrea Astolfi (Cus Pro Patria Milano), fifth, was the first Italian.

Relays under the banner of the Kenyans of Africa & Sport, authors of the best partials of the fraction, absolute first and first of the mixed relays. Always second in the three stages the Norwegians of Team Coop Norway, first in the men’s race ahead of Team Robinson with Perino, Berlese and Orler.
The Team Coop 2 relay was not bad with the presidents of the Centrale Banca Group, Sait Coop and Melinda, three of Marcialonga’s main partner companies. –
