First with the under 16 formation and second in the under 14. These are the placings obtained by the Canavese Ivrea volley at the Repubblica tournament played on Thursday 2 June occupying the three city facilities: the Antonicelli gym on the Bellavista hill, in addition to those of the Gramsci institutes and Falcon.

Satisfied with this important milestone, the president of Canavese Ivrea volley, Letizia Paonessa explains: «We are very happy to be able to set up this tournament – says Paonessa -. It was the first organized after the pandemic break and we wanted to do it on a very special day, special for everyone and what better day than that of the Republic Day? The municipal administration of Ivrea also intervened, with the deputy mayor Piccoli, who paid homage to all the athletes with a copy of the Italian Constitution, donated by the Piedmont Region to the municipality of Ivrea – continues Paonessa -. Piccoli also explained the great importance of this day and we are also very happy to have found the interest of each of the players ».

The president of Canavese Ivrea volley then spoke of summer camps, which will start this Monday, June 13, as confirmation: «We will start on Monday the volleyball campuses at Antonicelli and they will last six weeks – declares Paonessa -. Going into more detail of the campus, they will take place from week to week, the first will run from 13 to 17 June, the second from 20 to 24 June, while as regards the month of July, the weeks will be from 4 to 8, from ’11 to 15, from 18 to 22 and from 25 to 29, with training hours that will go daily from 8.30 to 17.30. All those who want to participate will be followed by qualified instructors, with the aim of growing technically, socializing and having fun ».

The Canavese Ivrea volley with this summer campus wants to continue to fuel youth activity, also in view of next season. –
