12 days have passed since the play-off final lost to Castanese, and in the Vogherese home we are starting to plan the next season. The patron Oreste Cavaliere closes the year just ended with satisfaction and relaunches his ambitions with a view to the future: «If we think about our wrong start, we can be happy. Too bad for the referee direction of the Castano Primo final, beyond the penalty, there were several episodes that made the team nervous. In the league, we lost six games, all around the 90th minute, with many controversial referee decisions. Let’s say we are in credit with luck. For next year, I can say that we will start with the will to have an excellent season ».

La Voghe wants to start again from Mr. Giacomotti and from the same framework that reached third place in the championship: «We will meet with Mr. Giacomotti in the next few days, and I see no problems with his reconfirmation. The same reasoning applies to the team, very united and close-knit. Many guys will start their fourth season in Voghera, confirming a program that we are carrying out over time. Our idea is to strengthen ourselves in midfield, a department in which we have suffered numerically. In this sense, we already have a handshake with Mattia Noia (former Pavia midfielder, ed), who could be our first signing and we are evaluating other additions ».

President, is there a player you would like to wear in the Rossoneri shirt?

«If I have to name a name, I say Poesio. I think he is already on his word to stay at Varesina, but I would gladly have a chat with him ».

Is there a risk that some valuable pieces of the Vogherese could leave?

«I know that our guys are in great demand, especially in the area, but I am pleased to underline how they are resisting the various offers. It will mean that they are in love with their president ».

Will there be any news on the youth sector?

«Our idea is to improve it. In the meantime, we have saved all the categories, and it is a sign that we have worked well. There will be new figures, and I can anticipate that my son Andrea will work alongside the head of the youth sector. Andrea has taken his coaching license, and I congratulate him on the path he is following. Always in the youth field, our basic activity will take place at the Parisi stadium ».

On the subject of structures, how are you moving?

«I had a meeting with the councilor for sport Simona Virgilio, in which she explained to me that in Voghera there are not many spaces for football. Precisely for this reason, I believe it is right that Parisi is totally available to Vogherese. I am working with the mayors of some neighboring municipalities in Voghera, and in addition we will still have the Pontecurone field under management. I do not rule out the possibility of closing an agreement with a sports center in Milan shortly to open a Vogherese Academy, with the aim of further expanding our nursery ».

Will the added value of Voghe always be the fans?

«Their support has helped us a lot. Many fans like ours envy us ». –
