In a thrilling night of CBA action, the Qingdao team narrowly beat the Shanxi Guangsha team and locked in their playoff spot, while Guangsha beat Ningbo for their fourth consecutive victory.

The game between Qingdao and Shanxi saw a back-and-forth battle, with Shanxi initially taking a lead before Qingdao fought back with strong outside shooting to end the first quarter ahead. Qingdao extended their lead in the second quarter, but Shanxi closed the gap with three-pointers from Zhang Ning and Shwede. In another match, the Jilin team secured a convincing 105-86 victory over Sichuan, handing their opponents a 17th consecutive league defeat.
