In a close and competitive game, the Guangdong South China Tigers fell to the Liaoning Bengang Team with a final score of 97-104 during the 33rd round of the 2023-2024 Chinese Men’s Basketball Professional League (CBA) regular season on January 21.
Despite the loss, the Guangdong South China Tigers put up a fight, with standout moments such as player Zhou Qi making a layup and Du Runwang attempting a long three-pointer, only to be blocked by Liaoning Bengang player Zhang Zhenlin. The match was intense as players clashed on the court, with conflicts erupting and fouls being called on both teams.
The Liaoning Bengang Team, however, emerged victorious with impressive plays by players such as Morand, Zhang Zhenlin, Zhao Jiwei, and Fu Hao who managed to outperform the Guangdong South China Tigers.
The game was not without moments of strategic coaching, with Du Feng, head coach of the Guangdong South China Tigers, seen giving instructions from the sidelines, and Hugo, coach of the Liaoning Bengang Team, doing the same.
