Charlie Dalin leads the Transat CIC in IMOCA

At the start of the race marked by the planned abandonment of Jean Le Cam, skipper Charlie Dalin is in the lead at 1 a.m. this Monday, ahead of Benjamin Ferré (Monnoyeur), his runner-up who is 4.4 miles behind. In third position, we find Jérémie Beyou (Charal) who is 4.9 miles from the lead. The Italian Ambrogio Beccaria (Alla Grande Pirelli) has a short lead (1.2 miles) over Amélie Grassi (La Boulangère Bio) in Class40, off the coast of Finistère.

Departing from Lorient on Sunday April 28, the 15th edition of the oldest single-handed transatlantic race will end in Manhattan Bay in New York, after a journey of approximately 3,500 miles. The race has not taken place since 2016 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
