The team is the same as last season, and thanks to the fact that last year did not count in terms of eligibility (i.e. there was no draft for the transition to professionalism) we have 3 experienced players who have returned to be part of the team . 4 freshmen (freshmen) have been added who want to learn: I’m trying to pass on to her what I’m learning and I learned in college. Many players on the roster are European, in fact we have a Norwegian girl, two English, one Spanish, one Danish and one Swedish ». Fusari’s team is currently in 2nd place in the ranking, behind Eckerd College in St. Petersburg (8 out of 8 wins).

Meanwhile, the young woman from Pavia continues her studies in psychology: «Everything is fine, I graduated in May and I finished this semester with good grades. – he adds – I am continuing to grow, both on a sporting and human level. I understood that work pays off and there are no shortcuts ». The Covid emergency remains topical also in Florida: «This year they are much more flexible, especially if you are vaccinated. – says Chiara – My whole team is vaccinated and therefore we don’t have to be tested 3 times a week but only in case of need. The public is back in the stands and there are no capacity limits. In Miami the situation is quite under control, many people are already doing the third dose and soon they will do it too, they continue to keep the situation under control and try to adapt according to the new Covid variants “. The university championship continues at a fast pace during the entire Christmas period: Barry is also on the field on New Year’s Day. “I could only go back to Italy 6 days so I will be in Boston with a university friend”. –
