China’s Huaying Team Seeks Breakthrough at World Championships
The Chinese Huaying Team is gearing up for the World Championships in Doha, with high hopes of achieving great results. At last year’s Fukuoka World Swimming Championships, the team secured 3 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze, setting a high bar for their performance this year.
Shi Haoyuan, the first male athlete in the history of Chinese flower tourism, is already a veteran of five dynasties of World Championships. With his experience and the team’s dedication, the Chinese Huaying Team is expected to make waves in the upcoming competition.
Head coach Zhang Xiaohuan spoke about the team’s adaptive training upon arrival in Doha. “Due to the long flight time, the team members’ legs were a little swollen, and they were not very adaptable at first,” Zhang said. However, she expressed confidence in the team’s ability to adapt and perform at their best during the championships.
Zhang also emphasized the importance of adapting to the competition environment and new rules. With the water temperature in the competition venues dropping to around 27 degrees Celsius, the team is focused on building their adaptability and using it to their advantage.
The upcoming championships in Doha will feature fierce competition, with the seven strongest teams battling for the last five places in the Paris Olympics. Zhang expressed the team’s determination to qualify for the Olympics and highlighted the importance of increasing the difficulty and stability of their movements to secure favorable results.
As the Huaying Team continues to train and adapt to the competition environment, Zhang remains optimistic about the team’s prospects. “Our athletes are very motivated. After these few days of training, we can get some positive feedback in each game, which will be helpful for the next competition. It will play a positive role,” she said.
With their sights set on a breakthrough at the World Championships, the Chinese Huaying Team is poised to showcase their resilience, adaptability, and determination to succeed in Doha.
