Rome, 14 July 2021 – Confirmations are expected from the new one bulletin of the Ministry of Health on the growing trend of Covid infections in Italy. Yesterday’s data showed 1,534 new cases and 20 deaths, but the positivity rate stood at 0.8%. Increasing numbers that have sparked the debate on whether to introduce the Green pass also for the restaurants and bars, as well as for transport, theaters and events with many people following the example of France. “It is certainly a right choice, we should also do it in Italy”, declared the Undersecretary of Health. Pierpaolo Sileri. But both politics and trade associations are divided.

The main fear of the Regions, however, remains a possible return to yellow zone. “We have no yellow zone parameters. At the moment I do not feel the risk, the parameter is hospitalization and we are at zero”, reassures the governor Luca Zaia in the aftermath of the boom in cases recorded since Veneto. The president of the Market, Francesco Acquaroli: “No imminent risk at the moment. Just scare the tourists.”
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, in Australia, it was decided to extend the lockdown a Sydney at least until 30 July in order to stem the new epidemic due to the Delta variant.

I’m 261 and contagion da Coronavirus in Veneto today. And it also registers a dead. The new cases were identified with 27,465 swabs, the positivity rate is 0.95%. There are 249 hospitalized for Covid, unchanged from yesterday. There are 233 people in the non-critical area and 16 in intensive care.
Tuscany
I’m 90 more compared to yesterday the new cases of Covid in Tuscany (82 confirmed with molecular swab and 8 by rapid antigen test), which lead to 245,169 cases recorded since the beginning of the pandemic. The average age of new positives today is approximately 31 years. In the last 24 hours 4,897 subjects were tested (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 1.8% were positive. The currently positive are 1,481 today, + 0.9% compared to yesterday. The people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients today are a total of 71 (1 less than yesterday, minus 1.4%), 14 in intensive care (1 less than yesterday, minus 6.7%). Today there are 4 new deaths (two men and two women). The healed reach 236,792 (96.6% of total cases).
