On the rumors of his arrival at Virtus Bologna: “Yes, all true. But then they took Luca Banchi.”
On arriving at Derthona: “When I arrived I was asked to guarantee safety, given that we were third from last and there was a lot of concern given that in such a demanding and balanced championship, if you fall into a vortex of negative results then it’s difficult to get back up. I must say that the fact of not having touched the group other than one incoming and one outgoing element is a source of great pride: the group has cohesive and tried to overcome its limits. Being in the playoffs is a small feat, given that certainly on December 26th I think no one would have bet on this result. We are eighth, with the possibility of reaching seventh place.”
