In the men’s singles 3-meter springboard final, Wang Zongyuan continued his winning streak from the World Cup in Montreal, despite a slight mistake in his fifth jump of 207C. Wang secured the gold medal with a total score of 505.90 points, reaffirming his status as a top diver in the world. Wang mentioned feeling fatigued from consecutive competitions but emphasized his determination to participate in all upcoming events, including the finals in Xi’an.

The Chinese team’s dominance was evident throughout the competition, with 4 out of 5 players claiming gold medals in their respective events. The Diving World Cup Super Finals are set to take place in Xi’an, China, from April 19th to 21st, where the world‘s best divers will compete for top honors. The Chinese divers’ impressive performances set a high standard for the upcoming events, with eyes set on the Paris Olympics as the ultimate goal for these talented athletes.
