Doll runs behind – Strelow sixth

Biathlete Benedikt Doll clearly missed his third sprint victory in a row. The 33-year-old only finished 19th at the home World Cup in Ruhpolding over ten kilometers after two penalty laps. The Black Forester was over a minute behind the flawless winner Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen from Norway at the finish.

Justus Strelow took sixth place as the best German in the Chiemgau Arena (1 penalty lap/+33.8 seconds). Philipp Horn (2/+49.2) came in eleventh, closely followed by Philipp Nawrath (2/+54.2) and Johannes Kühn (1/+55.1) in 14th and 15th place.
