The first Dolomite festival. In the debut year of the new provincial team, the name Dolomiti Bellunesi is immediately registered in a roll of honor. The Giovanissimi experimental championship was won by the team coached by Andrea Minella, who only needed to impact 2-2 against Giorgione at the Boscherai in the direct match to make the last day of the championship irrelevant.

Among other things, we are talking about the first draw of the season, against 24 wins and something like zero defeats.

“We knew we were a good group, but at the same time there was a lot of work to do”, comments Minella himself. “It is clear that over the weeks we realized how the primacy issue was a two-way fight.”

The squad is made up of boys born in 2008, with the pandemic that has effectively prevented them from living or almost the two-year Beginners. Projected into the competitive sector, they have proven to have pretty good quality.

Among the names of the players, the most talked about is certainly that of Gabriel Marcon, who has already been asked several times to support some training sessions with professional clubs, but in general it is a very promising year in perspective.

“We are talking about a very interesting group,” confirms the coach. «Marcon is certainly the one who is experiencing the greatest number of experiences of this kind, but other guys also show great potential. It was a good season, for which I extend the credit to the technical staff ».
