Dolomiti Bellunesi, time is needed for the new stands

A foul on Francesco Possocco

The match of 16-17 October against Este could also be played in Feltre. Councilor Bogo: “In a few days we will mount the first block at the Polisportivo, then we will stop for the 24 Hours of San Martino”

The highly anticipated match on Saturday afternoon in Feltre against Arzignano is already partly delicate after the heavy defeat suffered in the last round in San Martino di Lupari at the hands of Luparense. But there is also the question of the stadium among the issues that the Belluno Dolomites are paying attention to, in these hectic weeks. The news is that the assembly of the first mobile grandstand at the Polisportivo stadium should start already this week.

The second will be placed after the 24 hours of San Martino, scheduled for 9 and 10 October. Consequently, the times could be limited to be able to play the Dolomiti Bellunesi – Este match in Belluno, scheduled for Saturday 16 or Sunday 17 October. In short, the use of the Zugni Tauro di Feltre can be prolonged, even if the company does not want to hear about “home field” or “alternative field”, as it considers Belluno, Feltre and Sedico plants equally relevant to its own eyes.

START TO WORK

«During the week, the assembly works of an uncovered grandstand are expected to start, the one that is the largest among other things». To say it is Marco Bogo, councilor for sport of the municipality of Belluno and who immediately followed the story. We recall how at the moment the stadium of the capital is forced to suffer heavy limitations in capacity following a series of static checks carried out on the two covered stands. At the moment they can accommodate 150 spectators each. Too little for the D series. So the most immediate solution was to allocate the funds for the installation of the mobile stands, in order to guarantee an availability of seats suited to the needs of the team. A buffer solution, of course, waiting to be able to restore the entire plant with the large 3.7 million euro project.

Money, lots of money, to be found through tenders, in particular that of urban regeneration. “As for the other open grandstand, we talk about it in the days following the 24 hours,” explains Bogo. So the days preceding the Belluno Dolomites – Este.

The problem, however, is that there are the necessary technical times, but the home field must be communicated to the National Amateur League at the beginning of the week. Consequently, taking into account, among other things, the desire of the club to always try to anticipate their home matches on Saturday, one can think of a stay in Feltre for one more match. At that point the move to the Polisportivo would be postponed at the end of the month, against Campodarsego. Unless a single mobile stand is deemed sufficient for a single match, at which point the perspective may change. Bogo cannot indicate a certain date, but underlines how “the parties took action immediately. However, there are times, and if by chance you run into a week of unfavorable weather conditions you have to slow down. I understand the desire to see the Dolomiti Bellunesi on the field in Belluno, then if this happens on a date or a couple of weeks later I think it changes little. In the meantime, we have allocated the money both for the rental for 2021 and for 2022 ».

SATURDAY THE ARZIGNANO

In the meantime, the team has returned to work to prepare for Saturday’s difficult and stimulating advance against leaders Arzignano. We will play as mentioned in Feltre at 3 pm. The goal? Get back to moving the ranking immediately and not let one of the main candidates escape the top positions of the Serie D tournament.
