Dorival Junior new team boss for Brazil

Record world champions Brazil have found a new team boss after the dismissal of Fernando Diniz and the rejection of Carlo Ancelotti. The 61-year-old Dorival Junior is to take up the position, as his previous club FC Sao Paulo announced on Sunday. He asked for time off to take over the national team.

Brazil’s association has not yet confirmed this. After six games in World Cup qualifying, Brazil is only in sixth place. “It is the realization of a personal dream that was only possible because I received recognition for the work done in Sao Paulo,” Dorival Junior was quoted as saying in a statement.
