Perfect round for the two teams from Belluno involved in the Eastern group of the Serie A2 bowls championship (Volo specialty). Both Dolada and Pedavena made a full booty. The Pontalpini won 16-10 on the lanes of the Cussignacco, the brewers won with the minimum difference (14-13) in the home match played in Feltre against Chiesanuova.
Pedavena – Chiesanuova 14-13
For the Pedavena comes the first victory of the season, after the misstep in the debut match. The start of the match is anything but encouraging (7-1 in favor of the guests): the Feltre team manage to snatch only one point thanks to the 9-9 with which captain Casagrande equalized in the first individual.
In the combined, De Min is mocked 25-24, in the first couple Casagranda and Turrin are not much more fortunate (10-8), in the trio Ceccon, Bottecchia and Dalla Porta yield 9-6. The inertia of the game begins to change in the middle section. After losing the relay (37-34 to the detriment of Avesani and Pauletti), Pedavena imposes itself in the first precision shot (16-8 for Corrent) and in the two tests of progressive shots (33-32 for Avesani and 31-25 for Pauletti) leaving to the opposing team only the second precision shot (21-16 against Casagrande). Finally, in the last round of the traditional tests, the men of coach Biesuz take home three of the four challenges: the second couple (11-4 for Casagrande and Dall’O), the second individual (11-6 for De Min) and the third couple (11-7 in favor of Corrent and Dalla Porta). Only the third individual goes to the guests (11-4 against Casagranda).
Cussignacco – Dolada 10-16
Balanced start of the game, with Dolada affirming himself in the first couple (11-2 for Didina and Tiso) and in the first individual (11-5 for Di Tos) giving the opponents the combined (24-22 against Frare) and the first three (11-9 to the detriment of Andrea Carlin, De Vecchi and Salvador).
In the fast tests there is a monologue of the Pontalpine formation which, beyond the second progressive (28-25 at the expense of Mauro Carlin), has the best in all the challenges: the relay (36-6 for Basano and Fabio Carlin) , the first technical pitch (22-9 for Frare), the second technical (13-6 in favor of De Vecchi) and the first progressive (29-4 for Basano). In the last round of the traditional tests the initial equilibrium is proposed again but the guests, strengthened by the accumulated advantage, can manage the final game without worries. The second and third races go to Dolada in pairs respectively with Olivato and Tiso (10-8) and with Andrea Carlin and De Vecchi (11-7). Individuals, on the other hand, are prey to the home team, which first beats Frare 11-7, then beats Captain Salvador 11-2. –
