Erdogan cancels electoral commitments after illness on live TV

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan canceled all electoral commitments on Wednesday after he fell ill during a live television broadcast. “Following the advice of the doctors, I will rest at home,” he wrote on Twitter, announcing that he will not be at the rallies scheduled in three different cities of the country. He then added: “God willing, we will resume our commitments from Thursday”.
