The European Football Union UEFA is making a large contingent of tickets available a good six weeks before the start of the European Championship in Germany.
From 11 a.m. on Thursday, more than 100,000 tickets for various games can be purchased via the official ticket platform. UEFA announced this on Tuesday. The number of tickets available varies from game to game. After several raffles, fans can now buy the tickets directly.
Additional tickets
The additional tranche was made possible by three factors. On the one hand, tickets are offered that were already offered via the official resale platform in March and April. The finalization of the seating plans in the stadiums has also been completed, which has created additional seats. In addition, according to UEFA, there will be a significant number of discounted tickets for seats with restricted visibility.
A total of 2.7 million tickets were available before the first sales phase last year.
