SAN GIORGIO DI NOGARO. Extraordinary feat of the Friulian canoeist Federico Zanutta (Canoa San Giorgio): he first won the European title in K2 on 1,000 meters in Belgrade paired with the Lombard Luca Micotti and then the silver in the 500 meters, also in K2.
The pride of Canoa San Giorgio is skyrocketing for the double podium at the European Championships in the waters of Federico’s Ada Ciganlija (Serbia) who on Saturday won the title of Junior European Champion in K2 together with Luca Micotti (Polisportiva Verbano) 1000 meters and took the silver in the 500 meters of K2.
