After hospitalization linked to the removal of a rare pancreatic tumor, Fedez announced the birth of the Fedez ETS Foundation, with an official website and an Instagram page. It will operate on three pillars, writes the rapper: «The social, solidarity and public utility», and it is the project «to which I want to dedicate my energies for the future».
«While I was in the hospital (operated at San Raffaele in Milan for the removal of a rare pancreatic tumor, ed) – continues the rapper – I had the opportunity to think about things to do immediately, once I was discharged, I immediately went to work. I can’t wait for them to come to life ».
«It does so – explains Fedez – through the support of projects in favor of the most fragile categories and through direct interventions. The foundation’s commitment will therefore be aimed at managing the most urgent problems of hardship concerning, for example, minors, minorities, people in conditions of marginalization, poverty or disease – he continues -. This will be accompanied by the continuation of the commitment (also in this case both indirectly) in support of the sectors of music (and, more generally, entertainment), culture, art and sport ».
Among the first initiatives implemented by the Fedez Foundation: the donation of a special isothermal van for the transport of medicines to the Italian Red Cross for Ukraine with a load of 400 boxes of insulin to help the most fragile part of the population.
