The new Ferrari project costs 93,000 euros (excluding taxes and options), is 75% scale and features an electric motor. It is called Testa Rossa J, and is a reduced size replica of the 250 Testa Rossa launched in 1957, one of the most successful models in Ferrari history to date. The car was born from a project carried out in collaboration with “The Little Car Company” – a company specialized in the production and marketing of Junior Car -, will be produced in 299 units and is not approved for use on the road. The Testa Rossa J reproduces the shapes of the first version of the 250 Testa Rossa, the one with the pontoon fender-type barchetta body sculpted by Scaglietti. The shell is made with attention to detail and in hand-beaten aluminum, the same process followed for the historical models. The paint is also the same that is applied on the range cars, as well as for the front badge. The original drawings taken from Ferrari Classiche have been scanned and digitally recreated to shape the complex chassis of the 250 Testa Rossa. For the interiors, the Ferrari Style Center has designed a single seat that can accommodate an adult and a young person, reproducing the motif of the piping of the original seats. The steering wheel signed by Nardi, also one of the historical suppliers of the 1957 model, was developed with the smallest release system in the world to facilitate the driver’s entry.

The Maranello Style Center then studied the proportions and liveries, while the design of the chassis and other parts was made on the basis of the original drawings kept by Ferrari Classiche.
