In the women’s Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt stays in touch with Champions League qualification with a home win. Duisburg continues to stagger towards relegation.
At the end of the 17th matchday, Eintracht Frankfurt beat Werder Bremen 2-0 (0-0) on Monday (March 25th, 2024). Nicole Anyomi (50th) with a strong shot after Solo and Laura Freigang (60th) with a header scored the goals for the Hessians.

Bremen only appeared offensively after conceding goals. Ultimately, the North Germans lacked the penetrating power in attack to do anything countable. Frankfurt (32 points) remains in fourth place, one point behind Hoffenheim, close to the qualification places for the Champions League. Bremen ranks in midfield with 21 points.
Duisburg can hardly be saved
On Sunday, the bottom of the table, MSV Duisburg, lost 3-0 (0-1) in the basement duel at RB Leipzig and, with four points in their account and five games left, has little chance of staying in the league.
However, goals from double packer Jenny Hipp (42nd minute, penalty kick/69th) and Lydia Andrade (62nd) gave Leipzig some breathing room to escape the relegation zone. The newcomer moved up to ninth place with 16 points. Most recently, RB suffered a 5-0 defeat at leaders Bayern Munich.
