GIACOSA COLLERETTO
There was no lack of excitement in the three inaugural matches of the Piedmont Cup: in Colleretto Giacosa in group 6 the Strambinese 1924 won 3-4 with the thrill because, after having deservedly closed the lead in the first half 4-0, in the second half she suffered the return of the pedanei that only touch the sensational comeback. In group 7 the Montanaro overcomes Vischese 2-1 at home at Italo Giavarini, but the guests in full recovery are denied the 2-2 after a save on the goal line, while in group 8 Chivasso succumbs 4 -0 in Gassino Torinese against Gassinosanraffaele.
Starting from the match of Colleretto Giacosa’s Carlo Koetting, things at the blue team of mister Mario Pesce succeeded perfectly: after a study phase, the match took off in the 9th minute with a penalty converted by Ferrero, one of the best on the field.
The hosts are struggling to tackle dangerous actions by Gillone and risk the capitulation shortly before with Fabrizio Padovan and then with the former Pentimalli, but both conclusions are weak and Peirano has no difficulty in parrying. At the end of time, however, the Strambinese 1924 spreads: first a masterful free-kick from Di Nuzzo is worth the 0-2, then the hosts react by hitting the post with Benou Kaiss, but Amadio with a brace drops the poker for the Strambinese 1924.
In the second half, however, thanks to both the tiredness of the guests and the fact that the hosts throw their hearts over the obstacle, another game is born: blue tracks only on a free-kick from Ferrero that ended up on the crossbar, then Colleretto who shortens the distances with Benou Kaiss from the corner. Still on the developments of a corner Gaudino scores 2-4 and finally a penalty by Barbiero is worth the final 3-4. In group 7 a brace from Di Stefano allows Montanaro to win 2-1 with Vischese, scoring with Capussella, while in group 8, a hat-trick from Genzano and a goal from Emanuel allow Gassinosanraffaele to win 4-0 over La Chivasso . In the next round, Thursday 16 September at 20.30 the following will be played: Colleretto-Saint Vincent Châtillon, Vischese-Cigliano and La Chivasso-San Maurizio. –
