Gobert’s “curious” third period: the referees don’t whistle passes

A rather singular episode that saw Rudy Gobert protagonist in Game 3 of the playoff series between his Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns. The match, clearly won by the TWolves, during the first quarter saw the French center go on the counterattack for a third period, but given his certainly not very high qualities in ball-handling and his little propensity to carry out a coast-to- coast on the dribble, ended up committing a clear stepping infraction, incredibly not called by the referees.

At the end of the match Rudy Gobert recorded a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds.
