Guangzhou came out strong with a 108-98 victory over Qingdao, ending their 4-game winning streak. Jiao Boqiao led the team with an impressive performance, making 8 of 11 shots and scoring 23 points, along with 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Zhu Mingzhen contributed 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Chen Yingjun had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 steals. Qingdao’s effort was led by Powell with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
In another intense game, Fujian narrowly won in overtime with a score of 110-108 against Jiangsu. Germain led Fujian with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, while Zou Yang contributed 22 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists. Jiangsu’s losing streak continued, despite the efforts of Riley with 26 points and Jiang Haoran with 20 points and 5 rebounds.
