The Swabians celebrate a narrow victory against their direct rivals from Bergisches HC and can plan for another year of the Bundesliga.

It was a close call in the end: TVB Stuttgart defeated Bergischer HC 27:26 (11:11) and increased the gap to the endangered zone. The hosts now have a seven-point lead over their opponents, who occupy the first relegation spot. In the first leg, TVB lost 28:33.

Stuttgart’s best thrower was Kai Häfner, who contributed seven goals. After the draw at the break, TVB was able to pull ahead by up to four goals in the second half.

Guest player Noah Beyer once again caused excitement with three goals in a row in the final phase. But Stuttgart’s Jorge Serrano Villalobos made it 27:25 in the last minute.
