Great feat in Rieti for Fabrizio Pertile from Ventimiglia. On the occasion of the Italian Athletics Championships reserved for the Master categories, Pertile, standard bearer of Cus Genova, won the high jump race Master Male 40, bypassing the bar at a height of 1.67, prevailing over the Roman Raponi (same measure but greater number of errors) and on the Parma Botti, which stopped at 1.64.
«I didn’t think of winning – said Pertile, who thus repeated the title won last year in Arezzo – because the high jump was not a specialty that I had prepared in a particular way this year. It was a very tight race, fought until the last jump ».
In addition to the title number 13 won in his career, Pertile finished second in the long jump, with the measure of 5.78, just 13 centimeters from the gold of the Lodi Bracchitta.
On the 100 meters of the M60 category, sixth place for Claudio Pietrasanta, of Maurina Olio Carli Imperia.
