The KAC took the lead in Innsbruck in the 22nd minute through Raphael Herburger. The Innsbruck team managed to turn things around before the end of the second third with goals from Senna Peeters (36th) and Nathan Halbert (40th).

In the final section, a double strike from Jesper Jensen Aabo (45th/PP) and Johannes Bischofberger (47th/SH) gave the KAC a 3-2 lead. Nothing changed and the Carinthians were able to celebrate their fifth win in a row after regular playing time.
