The KAC took the lead in Innsbruck in the 22nd minute through Raphael Herburger. The Innsbruck team managed to turn things around before the end of the second third with goals from Senna Peeters (36th) and Nathan Halbert (40th).
In the final section, a double strike from Jesper Jensen Aabo (45th/PP) and Johannes Bischofberger (47th/SH) gave the KAC a 3-2 lead. Nothing changed and the Carinthians were able to celebrate their fifth win in a row after regular playing time.

Salzburg only secured their home win against Asiago in the final phase after a long 0-1 deficit. Chay Genoway and Troy Bourke made it 2-1 in the 56th minute with two goals within 30 seconds. Mario Huber increased the score to the final score in the penultimate minute. Salzburg’s newly signed US defender Cameron Schilling has not yet played.
The crisis-ridden Vienna Capitals gave up a 3-0 lead in Villach, but still narrowly won thanks to a goal from Evan Weinger (59th).
