BOLLENGO

On the occasion of the beautiful and convincing victory last Sunday, November 7, of the Independiente 4-1 over Perugia in the fifth leg of the group A of the women’s Serie C, the Ivrea club of president Roberto Tridello presented its own youth sector, composed of about seventy players divided into five teams, under 8, 10, 12, 15 and 17. The most important novelties are the birth of the under 8 and 17, as the head of the orange youth sector, Gianfranco Bruno, tells us: “This year we also managed to set up an under 8, which will start its championship in the spring, led by Rebecca Lissolo, a girl who already played with us when we were in Excellence with the first team – explains Bruno -. The other novelty is the under 17 of Paola Cordella, who plays a regional championship and at the moment has won three games out of five and is fifth in the standings. The under 10 and 12 (led by Valter Soggia and the duo Gianfranco Bruno-Franco Seren Rosso) are engaged in their respective championships, while the under 15 (coached by Emiliano Iannone) will start his at the end of November. Last Sunday as a tasty appetizer of Independiente Ivrea-Perugia we wanted to present our youth sector in Bollengo, at Giacomo Gaglione – comments Bruno – giving a strong signal of continuity and growth of each sector within the club. Our future goal, especially as regards the youth sector, is to continue working while having fun to grow both from a technical and a human point of view ». –
