Contract terminated: the Belgian is no longer a Nerazzuro and can return to Cagliari. Now Nandez’s situation can be unlocked
CAGLIARI. The eternal return: Radja Nainggolan arriving for the fourth time. The Ninja is no longer an Inter player since yesterday. And he has become a luxury freelancer because as a severance pay he should have obtained half of the salary expected for the last year of his contract. Now only the signature is missing: Cagliari awaits him with open arms.
Prior to yesterday, Nainggolan had turned down any offers. The last call had come from the Turks of Besiktas. But for Nainggolan it is a life choice: he only wants to go to Cagliari. Also because Cagliari is now a family and a second home. To cover the rossoblù jersey he decided to go ahead with a personal action: terminated the contract with Inter for the last year of the four-year agreement signed in the summer of 2018 when he moved from Rome to the Nerazzurri club. Accompanied by agent Alessandro Beltrami he spoke with the top management of the company. And the agreement was made official immediately after the meeting. “FC Internazionale Milano – this is the note from the club – announces that it has found an agreement with the player Radja Nainggolan for the termination of the contract with the club”. At this point Nainggolan can deal directly with Cagliari. And soon the agreement with the rossoblù club could be announced that would allow the Ninja to present himself again by the coach Leonardo Semplici. The goal is to shorten the time to allow the player to catch up with his teammates in time for his league debut.
Nainggolan has played the last two seasons with the Cagliari shirt, but always on loan. Now the Ninja can really close in Sardinia a career that began in A right at Sant’Elia.
