It is a stage that for the vast majority of crews in the truck category meant disaster and the end of sporting hopes. After all, only 16 of them arrived at the first of the seven collection bivouacs, six of them have so far reached the second one, which is roughly halfway through the unique two-day erzeta. “It was a massacre right from the start,” recounts Daniel Stiblík, who turned the direction with his Tatra in time to avoid being stuck somewhere in the inhospitable desert at night.
